Grave of Krzysztof Kieślowski, Powązki Cemetery

Krzysztof Kieślowski died March 13, 1996 in Warsaw. He was buried March 19 at the Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw (section 25, row 3). The tomb sculpture, which depicts the director’s hands performing the “finger framing” gesture, was designed by Krzysztof M. Bednarski.
